Whether it’s creating the communication and automation systems that allow the smooth operation of packaging machinery from different original equipment manufacturers (OEM) or taming an out-of-control control system, Haskell is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Engineer to join its internationally recognized Packaging Automation Division.

The successful candidate will use an analytical and methodical approach to serve a diverse group of clients as part of the organization ranked No. 1 by ENR among Food and Beverage contractors in 2020.

This unique opportunity will allow wide-ranging experience in packaging and material handling projects in collaboration with engineers from multiple disciplines in an integrated delivery setting. The Senior Engineer will help execute large-scale Food & Beverage packaging projects from concept through startup and commissioning. A high-level of competency with Allen-Bradley and Rockwell Automation will ensure high-quality and effective controls design, programming and start-up solutions.

Haskell’s Packaging Automation group supports the broader business by providing consulting services to market-leading Consumer Packaged Goods manufacturers. Projects include designing conveyor control systems, PLC/HMI programming, and integrating packaging and warehouse systems. Typical engagements last two to 12 months with the field support phase lasting two to six weeks.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related, with a minimum of eight years’ experience in conveyor systems controls design, packaging equipment integration, Rockwell Automation PLC/HMI programming, and capital project execution.
