Ken Boeser is being promoted to Division Leader – Municipal/Education at Haskell, the company has announced.
With more than 34 years of design, design-build and CMAR experience spanning municipal, federal, education, manufacturing, industrial, and recreational facilities, Boeser brings a multi-disciplined approach to the leadership role. His design and project-management background allows him to see all sides of a project and create a collaborative environment that delivers success in managing projects, budgets and schedules while ensuring safety, quality, and aesthetics.
An alumnus of Southern Illinois University, Boeser received a Bachelor of Science degree in Advanced Technical Studies followed by a Master of Architecture several years later while working full-time with Haskell. He has been an active leader with client proposals and presentations while also serving as the technical director for project development through design, construction, close-out, and follow-up engagement.
“I have had the privilege of working with multiple companies throughout the country in my professional career,” he said. “I left the Midwest to escape the cold and enjoy the sunny weather. However, it has been the opportunities and relationships I have had at Haskell that have kept me here. My 17-plus combined years with Haskell have provided me with great opportunities to expand my career in a path of my choosing. The Haskell people I have worked with and continue to work with every day have become my extended family. I have had the privilege to learn from some of the best designers and construction professionals in the industry, and I look forward to helping others continue to expand their own professional careers.”
He has served in leadership roles as a Design Principal, Project Director and Market Leader and has been associated with multiple award-winning projects such as the MV-22 Hangar at Camp LeJeune, North Carolina; the St. Armands Parking Garage in Sarasota, Florida; numerous schools; and extensions of the Legacy Trail, and 18.5-mile recreational rail trail connecting Sarasota and Naples.
He has obtained numerous professional credentials, such as LEED AP, Parksmart Advisor, AIA, NCARB and OSHA 30-hour. However, becoming an Eagle Scout in the mid-1980s still provides Ken with his greatest sense of accomplishment. He said the Boy Scout organization and the lessons learned in his youth from his strong stable family background have been fundamental sources of his continued success.
