Project DescriptionCarlsberg selected Haskell to assess, analyze, and improve power efficiency for their brewery that runs on generator sets. Haskell produced an engineering design to synchronize generator set operations to optimize fuel savings. Cabling and termination was carried out between the three generator plant rooms. Installation, termination, testing, and commissioning was conducted for the digital master controller system.

A playbook was developed, acting as a guide for Carlsberg’s packaging requirements. 3 sites were visited to acquire necessary information. Partnered with RoviSys, a website version made available to provide Carlsberg employees access worldwide.

Project DescriptionCarlsberg selected Haskell to perform a facility audit on the whole brewery and a lighting project. The audit included structure, mechanical, design, and electrical design. The lighting project included design and installation management to upgrade all areas to meet lux requirements.

Project DescriptionHaskell was selected to develop an assessment scheme in China. The main goal of the assessment was to ensure that the design and installations were according to international standards and that they were installed as per the design. An audit of the current status of the ceiling was conducted to identify the ceiling’s ability to be used as a trafficable surface.

Project DescriptionOur team began the Front-End Engineering study with an initial 12-week Conceptual Design Study to assist the client with developing and establishing the right design philosophy, focusing strategically on the process and packaging design. Quick establishment of a communication plan and a clear team structure from both parties were integral to ensure that weekly progress meeting and critical design review sessions were quickly defined. During the data collection stage, Haskell's engineering team worked closely with Client’s local process team to complete check lists and RFI, which included taking pictures of the key areas and developing a list of documents and drawings to be gathered. Any missing data would be addressed with the client and resolved verbally based on good industrial practices.

Project DescriptionHaskell was engaged by the client for an expansion project, where our team were requested to work closely with the client's internal process team to develop the front-end design of the project. This project involved design services for architectural, electrical, mechanical, data, plumbing, piping, structural, access control, fire alarm and sprinkler systems. The reviewed design basis was then rolled over as we entered into a Design and Build contract with the client. This brownfield expansion project involves converting an empty warehouse area into a GMP production facility to accommodate 4 of their new lines.

This alternative protein food manufacturer is an existing Haskell client and have been working with our US team in multiple projects of a similar nature.

Project DescriptionA medical glove manufacturer selected Haskell to conduct a preliminary study of their facility in Binh Phuoc, Vietnam. The study covered the main production factory, offices, and necessary supporting facilities including machinery and equipment. The goal of the study was to achieve production numbers of 3.0 billion gloves per annum with the ability to increase production to 4.0 billion gloves per annum.

Project DescriptionHaskell was approached by Firmenich to assist with the development of a Feasibility study for their plant in Tuas West Road, Singapore. The flavor & fragrance manufacturing plant has been established for over 25 years and was due for an overall improvement in productivity to make room for future growth. The Haskell team spearheaded the feasibility study in two separate phases that was executed in parallel and developed a demolition plan and equipment specifications, proposed a lean design layout for the ACM system installation and operations according to Firmenich’s requirements and coordinated the tendering activities for the system.

Project DescriptionHaskell was selected to create a scheme study of a new centralized chiller system. The purpose of the new chiller system is to replace the existing individual air-cooled chilled water and individual DX systems for an ENO production plant. The study involved the evaluation of 5 rooms to determine if a centralized chilled water system would be ideal to replace the current system.

Project DescriptionNutrition Technologies (NT) chose Haskell to provide our process engineering services to upscale their larvae-based bioconversion protein facility in Johor, Malaysia. Haskell worked with NT to establish an optimized process design basis with technical solutions to help with their business case. The study involved various parts of the production plant including wet raw material handling and storage, dry raw material handling and storage, mixing, discharge and storage, harvest process, and GMP processing.

Project DescriptionOil States leased a 76,230SF of land that is due for expiration and needed a Project Management team for the land reinstatement works. The Haskell team in Singapore was engaged to provide Project Management services to Oil States in procurement of the approved EBS consultant by JTC. The project was divided into four phases – beginning with the selection and mobilization of EBS consultant and land reinstatement works contractor, both of which were appointed under the Haskell team’s jurisdiction. The project then progresses to the first 50% of demolition works, followed by a 100% demolition before completing the final phase involving a successful coordination with JTC for the handover.

Project DescriptionOLAM selected Haskell to support them on this iconic project to study the existing facility and create multiple options for installation of this new roasting line. Haskell’s Project management worked with various internal departments of OLAM and sub-contractors to describe the scope of work and develop an investment budget for their management/board approval. The project involves development of various layout options and selection of a convenient location for this project without disturbing the current operations. Haskell team prepared ten options in six different locations for the team to decide and finalize on one final selected option for project execution.

Project DescriptionSC Johnson selected Haskell to provide full design services which included programming, interior design and furniture coordination, and procurement of U.S. products to reduce cost and increase quality. The 60,000 SF, 6-story facility is dedicated to research and development, customer service, and the Product Display Division. The facility included executive offices, board rooms, workstation modules, training rooms, and laboratories.

Project DescriptionHaskell teams from different hemispheres worked together within our 24-hour work schedule from its initial conceptual design phase, to schematic and detailed design, followed with execution phase EPCM/Project and Construction Management for a new roasting plant and distribution center valued at a total of $3.47MM. To ensure that the similar US standards are met for their first plant in China, our team visited the client's existing plant in US and leveraged on our local presence in China and the APAC to provide the client with valuable local know-how.

Haskell Project Team assist in coordinating between architectural and M&E design works with local appointed consultants on client’s requirement to ensure smooth information and design transmission.
